Mr. Kerwin's Regular World History
Here is a little about who I am. I was born in Detroit, Michigan and received my BA in history from Georgeown University. I moved to San Jose just three years ago after having worked in several jobs, but mainly in state government in Montana where I ran the state's election bureau. After working for about ten years in that position, I decided to return to school to get my masters in education and become a teacher as a second career. The 2006-2007 school year will be my fifth year teaching.
Last summer I trained and qualified for the Boston Marathon, which I ran over the 2006 Spring Break. In addition to the history classes I teach, I am the adviser for the California Scholarship Federation (CSF). I also will be working with Leland's Speech and Debate program with Humorous Interpretation (HI).
