Aesthetic valuing has four parts:
Description using the elements and principles
Analysis-determining which parts were well thought out with the
elements and principles
Interpretation-is where the student explains their expression-tells us
what they are speaking to in their work (explains any symbolism)
Evaluation is done in three areas by the student of their own work
(self) and by the students at their table (peer), in addition to Mrs.
Imerson's evaluation of each individual student.
The three areas are:
craftsmanship
creativity
effort
The actual critique is also worth points for completeness.
